Jorge Barraza, Naturalist Tour Guide Jorge brings to Mesoamerica Travel the experience of one of the pioneers in Natural History and Maya Archaeology tours in Honduras. Jorge has a socio-economical teacher degree by the Universidad Pedagogica de Honduras, San Pedro Sula. He is Honduran and was born in Copan. Jorge has been guiding for over fifteen years all over Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua, including expedition tours as well as specific interest tours such as archaeology, bird watching and natural history programs. Jorge is an all-round naturalist; his enthusiasm and environmental concern make him an excellent leader. Additional to Spanish, he speaks fluent English.
Juan Carlos Molina, Tour Guide Juan Carlos is 31 years old and a "Capitalino" (from the capital Tegucigalpa) by birth. He studied computer science and has been living in San Pedro Sula for some years now. Furthermore, he has been working as a guide for 5 years and knows almost all regions of the country. Apart from numerous individual - and group tours he also has guided various tours to the Moskitia, which requires lots of empathy and flexibility. Besides guiding he's a passionate diver (instructor's level) and an artist (painter and singer). He speaks English, German, a bit of French and - of course - Spanish.
Jimmy Pinell, Tour Guide
Jimmy has extensive experience in almost all of Honduras' life zones. He knows that the secret to great guiding is to transmit both knowledge and enthusiasm with high intensity every time. Jimmy has plenty of experience in the logistics of tour handling. Without doubt one of the best faces in guiding in Honduras. He speaks English as fluently as Spanish.
Roman Dominguez, Tour Guide
Roman is from San Pedro Sula he is an English teacher and is currently studying Tourist Management at the UTH (Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras) in San Pedro Sula. He has been working as a guide for two years and therefore transforms his theoretical knowledge daily with a lot sensitiveness, enthusiasm and detail into practice. Roman is to be characterized by his passion for Honduras and his great attention. He knows and loves almost every corner of his country and likes to share his fascination with other people.
Mauricio Bueso, Tour Guide
Maurico is from San Pedro Sula and has been working for six years as a tour guide. As a teenager he lived five years in Hamburg, Germany and finished high school there. He came back to Honduras after his graduation because he couldn't stand the cold weather and continued studying Business Administration in San Pedro Sula. His favorite destinations in Honduras are Copan, Tela, la Ceiba and Trujillo. His major aim as a tour guide is to give our visitors an impression of the diverse honduran culture. Besides German Maurico speaks English fluently.
