Greetings from Honduras and Mesoamerica Travel
Newsletter October 2006
|
CATM 2006 a success 170 tour operators (over 60 from Europe and 90 from the USA and Canada) and over 50 journalists attended the third Central American Travel Market (13th-15th October 2006), as well as the Pre tours, both held in Honduras, and the post tours in the neighboring Central American countries. Feedbacks vary from "surprised" to " absolutely astonished" in response to the land's diversity, friendliness of its local population and the outstanding organization of this event. We would like to thank all those that have given us a chance to convince them of our qualities and regret that some of you could not take part in this event.

Sales Manual 2007 Our sales manual 2007 is now complete and ready to be sent! If you have not yet received a copy, please feel free to request one at sales@mesoamerica-travel.com. Henceforth the manual will be exclusively available on CD-Rom, with detailed descriptions on tours, hotels and net rates provided in PDF-format and presented in a new, fresh-looking layout. To enable access to the manual, an Adobe® Acrobat® Reader is required. The software is already installed on most computers. If not, please copy/paste the following link to download the freeware: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/.
Needless to say, Mesoamerica Travel has not only focused on the design but also on improving usability: A user-friendly sidebar with an interactive table of contents simplifies the navigation. Furthermore, like every year, the CD contains, besides the actual sales manual, valuable additional & detailed information, as for example a photo database and our entire web content. It is therefore worth to make active use of this marketing tool. |

Wilderness Experience Mesoamerica offers you a new exceptional wilderness encounter experience. The new added "Wilderness Experience" itinerary gives our guests the chance to fully appreciate the magnificent biodiversity of the Cusuco National Park and Azul Meambar. Moreover, our guests will have the opportunity to take a refreshing bath at the impressive Pulhapanzak waterfall and explore the still intact archaeological site of Los Naranjos, near Lago de Yojoa, Honduras's biggest lake.
The itinerary includes clean and appropriate accommodations close to the national Park, Mesoamerica's excellent, well proven guides as well as additional local guides that will contribute to the tour's expedition-like character, without demanding any special requirements neither on its participants nor in terms of equipment. Our guests are welcome to decide the time and pace during all treks, so that everyone will be given the chance to fully enjoy the tour! As always Mesoamerica Travel guarantees this tour with a minimum of only two persons. For further information on the region please take a look at our website:
