Day 1: San Pedro Sula – Omoa
Early transfer to the Caribbean village of Omoa, which is one of the oldest towns in Honduras. We will visit the historical San Fernando Fortress built by the Spaniards to protect the coastline and ships from attacks by British pirates. The fortress offers a magnificent view of the bay and the Merendón mountain range. Leisure time can be spent enjoying the beach and sea or visit one of the small restaurants with excellent fish and seafood. Return to San Pedro Sula late in the afternoon. Overnight San Pedro Sula.

Day 2: San Pedro Sula – Copán
You will be met at your hotel by a Mesoamerica representative who will transfer you to the direct service bus to Copán. On your way to Copán you will travel through beautiful countryside. A hotel reservation will be made for you in Copán. This hotel is only a short walk from the direct bus terminal. The rest of the afternoon is left free to enjoy and explore the picturesque village of Copán. Overnight in Copán.

Day 3: Copán
Morning at leisure to enjoy Copan. Suggested activities include a visit to the Archaeological Park of Copán, a short 20 minute walk from your hotel. For your visit, you can hire a local guide or enjoy the site on your own. The park consists of two main sites: the ruins and the sepulchres. Learn about the impressive 63-step stairway with over 2,500 hieroglyphs and masterfully carved Stella. Other activities are available for your enjoyment as well. Overnight Copán Ruins.

Day 4: Copán – San Pedro Sula – Lancetilla – Tela
Morning direct bus to San Pedro Sula. You will be met by your guide and transferred to Tela. We will visit Lancetilla Botanical Gardens on the way. The United Fruit Company founded the gardens over 70 years ago as an experimental botanical site. The gardens are home to hardwood, medicinal and ornamental plants as well as tropical fruit trees from all over the world. Admire the long rows of majestic Royal Palms. An Orchid Garden and a Natural Reserve with a beautiful 1,200 hectares of virgin tropical rainforest make up this wonderful natural area. Overnight Tela.

Day 5: Tela – Punta Sal NP
In the early morning we leave by boat to explore the impressive rock formations of Punta Sal. We visit the sheltered little bays, well hidden among the rocks, with palm fringed beaches and blue lagoons. The rest of the time we are free to relax on the beach or swim and snorkel in the crystal clear water and explore the interesting marine life of the world's second largest Coral Reef, which comes close to the shore at Punta Sal. Overnight Tela.

Day 6: Tela
Today is left free to soak up the atmosphere of Tela and to relax in the sun, sand and sea. Overnight in Tela (extra activities can be organized at an additional price).

Day 7: Tela – San Pedro Sula
Morning transfer to San Pedro Sula for your departing international flight. End of program or extend your stay with another tour program.
