Day 1: San Pedro Sula – La Ceiba
Transfer from San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba. En route we visit the Lancetilla Botanical Garden. The United Fruit Company founded the gardens over 70 years ago as an experimental botanical site. Here you will find hardwood, medicinal and ornamental plants as well as tropical fruit trees from all over the world. You will see how the bamboo forest absorbs some 90% of the daylight, admire the long rows of majestic Royal Palms or try exotic fruits fresh from the tree. An Orchid Garden and a Natural Reserve with a beautiful 1,200 hectares of virgin tropical rainforest make up this wonderful natural area. Overnight in La Ceiba.

parks – Pico Bonito. The park is home to a huge range of animal species. Some species that inhabit the park are Bairds, Tapir, White Tailed Deer, Northern Raccoon, Nine banded Armadillo, Naked Tailed Armadillo, Jaguar, Mountain Lion, Kinkajou, Spider Monkey, White Faced Monkey, as well as to many bird species. Time to go hiking, refreshment at one of the numerous waterfalls. Afternoon leisure time to enjoy the rich, tropical atmosphere in one of the merriest towns in the country. Overnight in La Ceiba.

Day 3: La Ceiba – San Pedro Sula
Breakfast at the hotel. Leisure time during the morning to enjoy the atmosphere of La Ceiba. End of services. La Ceiba is the perfect spot to combine your trip with an extension in beautiful Bay Islands.
