Early transfer to the port of Tela. Continuing on our tour we visit the Lancetilla Botanical Garden. The United Fruit Company founded the gardens over 70 years ago as an experimental botanical site. Here you will find hardwood, medicinal and ornamental plants as well as tropical fruit trees from all over the world. You will see how the bamboo forest absorbs some 90% of the daylight, admire the long rows of majestic Royal Palms or try exotic fruits fresh from the tree. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy Tela’s beaches. Return to San Pedro Sula in the late afternoon.
