Day 1: San Pedro Sula
Arrival in San Pedro Sula. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in San Pedro Sula.

Day 2: San Pedro Sula – Copán
A Mesoamerica representative who will transfer you to the direct service bus for Copán will meet you at your hotel. You will travel through beautiful countryside. A hotel reservation will be made for you in Copán. This hotel is only a short walk from the direct bus terminal. The rest of the afternoon is left free to enjoy and explore the picturesque village of Copán. Overnight in Copán.

Day 3: Copán – San Pedro Sula
Morning at leisure to enjoy Copan suggested activities are a visit to the Archaeological Park of Copán, which consists of two main sites: the ruins and the sepulchres. Learn about the impressive 63-step stairway with over 2,500 hieroglyphs and masterfully carved Stella. You will return to Copán in time to take the afternoon direct bus back to San Pedro Sula. Overnight in San Pedro Sula.

Day 4: San Pedro Sula – La Ceiba
Your guide will meet you at your hotel at 8.30 am to start a short city tour to observe the intense commercial activity of this fastest growing city in Central America. We visit the colourful local handicraft market Guamilito and continue to a nice restaurant for lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to the bus station where we take the direct deluxe bus to La Ceiba. Overnight in La Ceiba.

Day 5: La Ceiba – Brus Laguna – Kuri
Morning flight to Brus Laguna (*). After arrival, we board a motorized canoe which locals call a "tuktuk". We cross the huge Ibans Lagoon before reaching the community of Playitas. Here we start our hike lasting approximately 1 hour to the Misquito village of Kuri. In the afternoon we have leisure time to enjoy the village's beautiful beach and to interact with the locals. Overnight in Kuri.

Day 6: Kuri – Las Marías / Río Plátano
After breakfast we board a boat that will take us from Kuri to the Pech community of Las Marías. Going up counter currents along the banks of the Plátano river. Along the way we will observe the ecological change between the coastal vegetation formed mainly by mangroves and lagoons, and the tropical lowland rainforest. In the late afternoon we arrive in Las Marías. Overnight in Las Marías.

Day 7-10: Las Marías / Río Plátano
Days in Las Marias. During our stay, we wil enjoy many activities. For example, with the help of our local guides and pipantes, we will navigate on the river to the petroglyphs, numerous mysterious rock carvings. The forest around Las Marías offers many hiking trails of different levels of difficulty, these trails will lead us through virgin forest, that is home to over 350 species of birds and to many large mammal species, some being white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, giant anteaters, white tailed deer and white-lipped peccaries. We learn more about the flora and fauna, we take hikes into the heart of the jungle; observe the rich diversity of flora and fauna. Or enjoy the company of your local guides, the Pech, and their diverse cultural heritage, relax or bathe in the river. Our meals and lodging are basic and at a local family’s house. Overnights Las Marías.

Day 11: Las Marias – Kuri
Early in the morning we say goodbye to our hosts the Pech and return to the Caribbean village of Kuri. During the boat ride we will admire the exotic birds sighted along the way. Overnight in Kuri.

Day 12: Kuri – Brus Laguna – La Ceiba – Utila
Early Morning we take the morning flight from Brus Laguna (*) to La Ceiba. Your private guide bids farewell, while you continue on to Utila. Short walk to our hotel. Overnight on Utila.

Day 13 & 14: Utila
Days left free to enjoy Utila with its funky island atmosphere and Caribbean charm. Daily activities such as diving, snorkelling, sea kayaking or island exploring trips can all be organised at an additional cost. Overnights Utila.

Day 15: Utila – San Pedro Sula
Morning transfer to the airport in Utila for a flight (*) to San Pedro Sula in time for your international departure flight.
